If you thouhgt Anna Karenina had too many pages ...

I haven't rejected you. The last few weeks I have tried to find some time to write here. Right now I just have about a one zillion steels on fire, I simply haven't had time for anything extra.

The college keeps me busy four days a week, I'm studing diffierent kinds of arts on Mon-; Tues-; Thurs- and Fridays from 09.30 am. to 03.30 pm. It's unbelievable, how fast the days go by. When I wake up in the morning, go to the college, start photographing or painting, and sooner than I even realize, I'm already packing up my artist tools back to my case and on my way home. Some other exchange-students whom I have met have told me that they are tired all day and really fed up with studing. As I already told, I don't feel the same way. But I guess that's because I'm really interested in the subjects I'm studing. I don't feel blue while walking to school early in the mornings. But don't get me wrong, my studing is everything but chill, easy or loose. I give my everything to the work I'm producing, and sometimes when I get back home, I only want to take a cup of coffee and do absolutely nothing more than just lay down on the sofa and relax with a good movie.

Once again, this could be a good time to write about those wonderful moving pictures. Well, some other time. I promise to own my next text for the movies. Only for the movies.

But from movies I get a wonderful akward transition to photography. I've never actually done it _seriously_ in my whole life, and instead of photography I have always chosen some other technics. That's simply because I haven't felt any interested in that subject. I have - of course - always appreciated the professional photographers - and even "only" the good ones, but the subject itself hasn't ever inspired me to try.
Last Monday I developed my very first filmtape. It was amazing to see, how the pictures showed up on the empty film - and all that thanks for a dark room and the three liquids. I still don't believe my career to be will be a photographer, but that session totally opened my eyes. My Lord, it was interesting.

While these weeks I have also tried drawing with black and white charcoals. As I may have told before, when I'm "expressing myself" I'm keen on using the original pencil and normal paper. Of course I have tried almost all the technics under of our blue sky and stars, but all that was when I was... well... too young. Now, when I first time for a many years am taking a painting brust to my hand and doing some simple lines, I really start to realize what I've been missing all these years. Maybe it's all about that I've actually been knowing the truth whole my life, but the fact, that I don't want to do this for my career to be, has kept me away from all the wonderful artist tools and technics.

By the way, I finished the puppy few weeks (!!!) ago. I've already done also little Buzz Lightyear -socks for my 3-year-old host-nephew (who's maybe the biggest Toy Story -fan I've ever seen). I'm sorry, but I forgot to take a picture about the socks, but here's the dog.

Because I promised to dedicate my next update fot the movies, I have to try to put everything else to this post. So, I've now been trying to get my nails little bit longer, so the decorating would look nice in them. Now they are quite nice (except, unfortunately, today I broke one of my right hand ones, and it looks really stupid with all the beautiful long ones). But I'm not too happy because all my precious artist nail polishes - and practically EVERY lovely nail equipment - are still in Finland. At home in Finland I have a massive collection of all the red nail polishes from the nude pink to the dark blood plus some good looking colours like smokey blue, pearly white, army green and soft lemon. Here in UK I've something like five proper colours. I think I need to go shopping.

By the way, again, I'm terribly sorry for these low-quality pictures. My small simple digital camera wasn't the most expensice one, and it sometimes finds really hard to make sharp photos.
